30 hours free childcare
Eligible working parents can now apply for 30 hours of childcare from the term after their child turns 9 months, until they start school.
If you currently receive 15 hours for working families, just reconfirm as usual and the code will work for the 30 hours offer in September, providing you remain eligible and your provider has confirmed your new attendance pattern for your increased hours.
For more information please do not hesitate to contact me or contact Tameside family service on 0161 342 4260

Government funding covers up to 30 hours of childcare, but not daily consumables. I therefore ask for a voluntary £5.50 per day to cover meals, snacks, wipes, playgroups, trips, and activities. If you choose not to pay, you’ll need to provide these items yourself and pay separately for playgroups or outings.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask me in person.
